FulbrightPrep is an independent preparation platform for Fulbright applicants. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how we handle application materials, AI requests, analytics, logs, and access signals.

Please avoid uploading unnecessary sensitive data. You should only provide information that is useful for preparing your application strategy, statements, short answers, affiliation planning, document readiness, or interview practice.

Information You Provide

• Account information such as email address, name, avatar, login information, and account preferences.
• Application materials such as application profiles, requirement snapshots, statement drafts, short answers, affiliation plans, recommendation strategies, document readiness notes, reviews, interview profiles, and preparation reports saved by you.
• AI request content such as background, draft text, planning notes, official-source notes, interview answers, and related context you send to FulbrightPrep tools.
• Payment processing is handled by third-party payment providers. We do not store full card numbers.
• Support messages you send when you contact us for feedback, support, or refund review.

Application Storage

FulbrightPrep stores applications and saved materials so you can return to your workspace, continue the workflow, compare drafts, preserve requirement assumptions, and generate review outputs.

You control what you enter and save. Do not include private information about other people unless it is necessary, appropriate, and handled responsibly.

AI Providers

FulbrightPrep uses third-party AI providers to process AI requests you choose to run, such as award-fit diagnosis, statement review, short-answer review, recommendation coverage review, document readiness review, package review, and interview preparation.

When you choose to run an AI-powered feature, relevant portions of your content may be transmitted to third-party AI providers solely for processing that request. AI outputs should be reviewed, corrected, and verified against official requirements before use.

AI Request Processing

FulbrightPrep does not use your saved application materials to train its own models.

Third-party AI providers process requests according to their own policies and agreements. Users should review provider policies where applicable.

Analytics, Logs, and Security

We use operational analytics and structured logs to understand reliability, usage, credit consumption, failures, refunds, and workflow health.

Our analytics and logs are designed not to store full draft text, raw provider payloads, API keys, raw IP addresses, full user agents, or payment card details.

To protect paid access and reduce account sharing, we may store hashed metadata such as hashed IP signals, hashed browser or device signals, event type, route, and timestamp.

Data Retention

We retain account information, saved application materials, analytics records, and operational logs only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and support legitimate business operations.

Users may request deletion of saved application materials and account data. Certain records may be retained for security, fraud-prevention, billing, tax, or legal compliance purposes.

International Processing

Your information may be processed in countries other than your country of residence, including by third-party AI providers, hosting providers, analytics providers, and payment processors.

By using FulbrightPrep, you understand that information may be transferred and processed in these jurisdictions as necessary to provide the service.

Children

FulbrightPrep is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

Your Choices

You may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your personal information where applicable. Some information may need to be retained for security, billing, legal, or operational reasons.

We may update this policy as the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The updated policy will be posted on this page.

User Responsibility

FulbrightPrep provides preparation, organization, review, and workflow support.

Users remain solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, completeness, and final submission of all application materials.

We may use authentication cookies to keep you signed in, session cookies to maintain basic platform functionality, security cookies to protect accounts and reduce abuse, and analytics cookies to understand usage and improve reliability. Some cookies are necessary for the service to function; analytics or performance cookies may depend on configuration and consent settings.
