Overview

FulbrightPrep may use credits for AI-assisted Fulbright preparation tools. This policy explains when purchases or credits may be reviewed, restored, or refunded.

We aim to be fair and practical. If something went wrong, please contact us with enough detail to review the issue.

AI Failures and Credit Restoration

Some AI failures may automatically refund or restore credits, depending on how the tool failed. For example, if a structured AI tool fails before returning a usable result, the system may return the reserved credits automatically.

Streaming tools may behave differently. If a tool successfully begins streaming or produces an output, credits are generally considered consumed.

Successfully Consumed AI Credits

Credits used for successful AI runs are generally non-refundable. This includes award-fit diagnosis, statement review, short-answer review, recommendation coverage review, document readiness review, application review, or interview preparation outputs that were generated and delivered, even if you decide not to use the result in your final application.

Unused Credits and Mistaken Purchases

If you purchased credits by mistake or have unused credits you cannot reasonably use, contact us for review. We may approve a refund, partial refund, account credit adjustment, or another reasonable resolution depending on the purchase history, usage, payment processor status, and applicable law.

Requests are reviewed case by case. We cannot promise a refund for every unused-credit request.

Usually Not Refundable

  • credits consumed by successful AI runs
  • outputs you dislike but that were successfully generated
  • usage caused by account sharing or unauthorized sharing of login access
  • requests based only on scholarship outcome or application result
  • expired, promotional, or already-adjusted credits, unless required by law

How To Request a Review

  • your account email address
  • purchase date and transaction reference, if available
  • which tool or credit event caused the issue
  • a short explanation of what happened
  • screenshots or error messages if useful

Review Timeline and Chargebacks

We usually aim to review straightforward cases within 5 to 10 business days. Payment-provider processing times may vary after a refund is approved.

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. Chargebacks can delay resolution and may result in account restrictions while the dispute is reviewed.
